Children will be guided through the busy streets of New York through this beautiful story, “City Shapes” by Dianna Murray. Along their journey, they will be introduced to many different shapes that are found throughout the city. In Lesson 1 they will be introduced to basic shapes and the number of sides shapes have. We will dig deeper in lesson 2 by introducing the difference between 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional shapes.
