In this lesson, children will be introduced to a circle (no sides), square (4 sides), triangle (3 sides), rectangle (4 sides), pentagon (5 sides), ellipse (no sides). They will then be encouraged to go on a hunt to see if they can find different shapes in their environment. There is also a follow up activity where they can manipulate pieces to create shapes.
